About Me

I'm Wei Ling, originally from Singapore and now making Finland my home. After spending over 20 years as a journalist and communications professional, I followed my passion into the world of pastry, training as a pastry chef to pursue my passion for baking more deeply.

What began simply as a love for indulging in delicious cakes, desserts, and baked goods blossomed into a desire to understand the craft itself. My journey took me to the esteemed École Nationale Supérieure de Pâtisserie (ENSP) in France, and I later earned my diploma in pastry and bakery back in Singapore. For me, baking isn't just about following a recipe; it's an art, a science, and a way of creating something comforting, memorable, and meaningful.
